Position: Livestock Manager
Location: Kafulafuta Chankute Junction, Ndola
We are looking for an experienced and responsible Livestock Manager to monitor and manage our various livestock units.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitor and manage broiler chickens (from day-old chicks to market age).
- Monitor and manage village chickens (backyard & commercial).
- Monitor and manage ducks (health, feeding, laying, production).
- Monitor and manage goats (growth, health, feeding, reproduction).
- Monitor and manage cows (feeding, health, milking/production).
- Ensure proper feeding, water, housing, health and biosecurity for all livestock.
- Maintain records and report performance.
- Coordinate with farm staff and support smooth daily operations.
IDEAL CANDIDATE SHOULD HAVE
- Proven experience in livestock management (multi-species).
- Knowledge of poultry, village chicken, duck, goat and cattle farming.
- Good understanding of animal health, feeding, breeding and records.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to work independently and solve problems.
- Responsible, honest and safety-conscious.
QUALIFICATIONS
Diploma or Degree in Animal Science, Veterinary Science, Agriculture or a related field (added advantage).
