Medpoint Clinic & Diagnostic Center is expanding its clinical team and seeking a dedicated, fully registered Medical Doctor to join our healthcare team. We are looking for a qualified professional committed to delivering high standards of patient-centered care.

Medical Doctor

Position Details

• Position: Medical Doctor
• Location: Kitwe, Zambia
• Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

•  Provide comprehensive medical consultations, diagnoses and outpatient/inpatient care to patients of all ages.
• Order, interpret and evaluate appropriate diagnostic investigations (laboratory and imaging).
• Formulate and implement effective evidence-based treatment plans and management protocols.
•  Collaborate closely with nursing, laboratory, pharmacy and allied health staff to ensure coordinated patient care.
•  Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and confidential electronic and physical medical records in compliance with clinical standards.
•  Participate in emergency triage, clinical audits and community health outreach programs as required.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Degree: Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution.
• Internship: Must have successfully completed the mandatory medical internship.
• Registration: Must possess a valid, full practicing registration and a current practicing license with the Health Professions Council of Zambia (HPCZ).
• Experience: Previous clinical experience in a busy hospital or clinic setting is an added advantage.
• Skills: Strong clinical decision-making, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
