About the Role

QCE is looking for an organised, detail-conscious Junior Operations Assistant to support the Operations Manager. This is a full-time, entry-level trainee role focused on two core areas: coordinating service call-outs and job cards, and tracking procurement and imports. No prior industry experience is required, and full training is provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Log and track service call-outs and job cards daily, and follow up with technicians.
• Enter completed job card data into QCE systems, including the On Key Portal.
• Request supplier pricing and draft purchase orders for approval.
• Track procurement and imports, following up with suppliers and transporters.
• Check deliveries against invoices/packing lists and keep documentation filed.
• Provide general administrative support to the Operations Manager.

What We're Looking For

• Grade 12 certificate or equivalent. A business administration diploma is a plus, but not required.
• Comfortable with Microsoft Excel, email, and WhatsApp for work communication.
• Clear written English.
• Organised, detail-conscious, and trustworthy with money and information.
• Able to work Monday–Friday full days and Saturday mornings from 08:00–12:00.
• Desirable: some office/administrative experience, and an interest in operations or logistics.

Job Details

• Location: QCE Office, Plot 9066, Katanga Road, Chinika Area, Lusaka.
• Employment Type: Full-time, entry-level/trainee.
• Probation Period: Three months.
• Working Hours: Monday–Friday full days; Saturday 08:00–12:00.
