About the Role
QCE is looking for an organised, detail-conscious Junior Operations Assistant to support the Operations Manager. This is a full-time, entry-level trainee role focused on two core areas: coordinating service call-outs and job cards, and tracking procurement and imports. No prior industry experience is required, and full training is provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Log and track service call-outs and job cards daily, and follow up with technicians.
- Enter completed job card data into QCE systems, including the On Key Portal.
- Request supplier pricing and draft purchase orders for approval.
- Track procurement and imports, following up with suppliers and transporters.
- Check deliveries against invoices/packing lists and keep documentation filed.
- Provide general administrative support to the Operations Manager.
What We're Looking For
- Grade 12 certificate or equivalent. A business administration diploma is a plus, but not required.
- Comfortable with Microsoft Excel, email, and WhatsApp for work communication.
- Clear written English.
- Organised, detail-conscious, and trustworthy with money and information.
- Able to work Monday–Friday full days and Saturday mornings from 08:00–12:00.
- Desirable: some office/administrative experience, and an interest in operations or logistics.

- Employment Type: Full-time, entry-level/trainee.
- Probation Period: Three months.
- Working Hours: Monday–Friday full days; Saturday 08:00–12:00.
