Role Purpose
We are looking for a candidate that will support the branch team as a Rider / Office Assistant for our Kitwe Main Branch. The ideal candidate must combine a variety of skills including time management, general organization, task prioritization, customer service, problem-solving, and teamwork. Any previous office experience may be requested but this can also be an entry-level position.
Responsibilities
- Welcome clients and direct them to the correct staff member
- Coordinate messenger and courier service
- Provide a high quality cleaning service
- Clean, sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
- Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and surfaces
- Dispose of trash and recycling
- Clean and sanitize restrooms
- Stock and replenish bathroom supplies
- Clean windows and glass surfaces
- Maintain common areas and outdoor spaces
- Follow health and safety guidelines
- Notify management of any maintenance or repair needs
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Grade 12 Certificate or GCE
- Proven experience as a cleaner
- A motorbike licence with at least one year of experience will be an added advantage
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and techniques
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and thoroughness
- Physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy objects
- Good communication skills

Purpose of the Role
The Accounting Clerk will report to the Accountant. You’ll keep a close eye on Unifi’s bank accounts, mobile wallets and cash, making sure everything adds up and nothing slips through the cracks. You’ll reconcile accounts, dig into anything that doesn’t look right, and work with our teams to get issues sorted quickly. You care about getting the details right, ask questions, stay curious and aren’t afraid to get stuck in.
Responsibilities
- Keep Unifi’s bank accounts, mobile wallets and NetSuite records accurately reconciled and up to date.
- Make sure clearing and suspense items are dealt with quickly, investigating anything that doesn’t look right rather than letting it sit.
- Keep a close eye on daily and weekly bank balances and make sure our records match what’s actually happening.
- Help keep our reconciliation processes simple, clear and consistent so everyone knows what needs to happen and when.
- Work with our country's finance teams to understand and resolve differences or reporting issues.
- Work alongside Finance and IT when system issues are getting in the way of accurate reconciliations.
- Help maintain our automated allocation rules and step in with manual matching and postings where needed.
- Speak up early when you spot an error, unusual transaction, potential fraud or something that just doesn’t make sense.
- Help set up strong reconciliation processes as Unifi moves into new markets.
- Take ownership of getting issues resolved, bringing in the right people when you need help.

Requirements
- Grade 12 certificate with Accounting and/or Economics is required.
- Studying towards or completed a finance-related diploma or degree is advantageous.
