About the Opportunity
Sanctuary Gardens Rehabilitation & Wellness Centre is seeking a motivated, organised and professional individual to join the team as a Receptionist / Administrative Intern. This is a great opportunity to gain practical experience in a dynamic and supportive mental health and rehabilitation setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer and manage telephone calls and be the first point of contact for all enquiries.
- Receive and welcome visitors, directing them to the appropriate departments.
- Maintain a message book and ensure messages reach the relevant staff.
- Manage contact, contractor and stakeholder lists.
- Provide administrative support including typing letters, reports and other documents.
- Ensure all admissions, discharge, monthly and MDT reports are compiled, up to date and sent in a timely manner.
- Send MDT invitations and manage the Centre's diary.
- Maintain client records (paper files and WriteUpp).
- Monitor staff attendance and maintain staff records (contracts, leave, absence etc.).
- Manage stationery and office supplies.
- Take notes during meetings and assist with general office administration.
- Keep the reception and office environment professional, organised and confidential.
- Carry out any other reasonable administrative duties as required.
Requirements
- Diploma, degree or current/recent graduate in Business Administration, Health Administration or a related field.
- Good computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel and email).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Professional, reliable, proactive and able to maintain confidentiality.
- A willingness to learn and be part of a values-driven team.
- Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage but not essential.
