Opportunities are available for Junior and Senior Bookkeepers in Roodepoort, South Africa. The roles require candidates with relevant bookkeeping or accounting experience, strong numerical and analytical skills, accuracy and the ability to meet deadlines.

1. Junior Bookkeeper

Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric), with Accounting as a subject being advantageous.
• Relevant qualification in Bookkeeping, Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 2–3 years' bookkeeping experience.
• Working knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping processes.
• Experience using accounting software such as Sage Pastel.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

2. Senior Bookkeeper

Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric).
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, Bookkeeping or a related field, including Diploma, Certificate or Degree.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a Senior Bookkeeper or similar accounting role.
• Proven experience managing the bookkeeping function up to trial balance.
• Strong knowledge of VAT, reconciliations, general ledger and financial reporting.
• Experience using accounting software such as Sage Pastel, Sage Evolution, Xero, QuickBooks or similar.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience within a multi-entity or high-volume transactional environment is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of South African financial and tax regulations.
• Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
