About the Company
MEGA Bakery is a leading bakery, restaurant and mini-mart in Kafue.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage monthly and annual financial statements
- Handle payroll preparation and processing
- Prepare and submit ZRA tax returns and other statutory tax obligations
- Manage NHIMA, NAPSA and Workers' Compensation Fund returns
- Ensure timely payment and compliance with statutory obligations
- Maintain accurate accounting records and reconciliations
- Prepare financial reports and assist management with financial analysis
- Monitor income, expenses, cash flow and company accounts
- Ensure compliance with applicable Zambian accounting and tax requirements
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance or a related field
- Practical experience in accounting and payroll
- Good knowledge of Zambian tax and statutory requirements
- Experience with ZRA, NAPSA, NHIMA and Workers' Compensation submissions
- Strong knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- High level of accuracy, integrity and confidentiality
- Relevant professional qualification such as ZICA/ACCA will be an added advantage
