The Role

Lusaka Telecom Solutions is hiring a Civil Telecommunications Engineer to support the planning, design, supervision and delivery of telecommunications infrastructure projects, including tower construction and associated civil works.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, design and supervise the construction of telecommunication towers and associated infrastructure.
• Conduct site surveys, feasibility studies and technical assessments.
• Ensure tower construction activities comply with engineering standards, client specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor project progress, quality, safety and timelines.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, clients and project stakeholders.
• Review and approve construction drawings, structural designs and project documentation.
• Manage site inspections and ensure adherence to Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) standards.
• Prepare technical reports, project updates and completion documentation.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering field.
• Registered with the Engineering Institution of Zambia (EIZ).
• Minimum of 3–5 years' experience in telecommunications infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience in tower construction, foundation works and site development.
• Experience managing contractors and supervising field construction teams.
