About Us
We are a fast-growing franchise operating in Zambia. We are looking for a hands-on, results-driven Shop Manager to lead our restaurant operations and deliver excellent customer service.
Overall Responsibility
The Shop Manager will be responsible for leading daily restaurant operations, managing staff, driving sales and ensuring excellent customer service while maintaining food quality, hygiene and brand standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Operations
- Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth service, quality food and hygiene standards.
2. Team Leadership
- Recruit, train, supervise and motivate restaurant staff.
- Create staff schedules.
3. Customer Service
- Ensure exceptional customer experience.
- Handle complaints professionally.
4. Sales & Marketing
- Drive sales targets.
- Manage promotions.
- Grow foot traffic.
5. Stock & Cost Control
- Manage inventory.
- Minimize waste.
- Control food costs.
- Conduct stock takes.
6. Compliance
- Ensure adherence to ZRA Smart Invoicing, Health & Safety and brand standards.
7. Reporting
- Prepare daily sales reports, cash-ups and weekly reports to management.
Qualifications and Experience
Experience
- Minimum 2–3 years in a supervisory or management role in a restaurant, fast food or retail environment.
- Franchise experience is an added advantage.
Education
- Grade 12 Certificate.
- Diploma in Business, Hospitality or any related field is preferred.
Skills
- Strong leadership, customer service, stock control and basic computer skills.
- Must be comfortable with POS and Smart Invoicing.
Other Requirements
- Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and public holidays.
- Honest, energetic and target-driven.
