We Are Hiring
The International Hospital of Zambia (IHZ) – Fairview is inviting applications from suitably qualified, hardworking and dedicated individuals to join the team in the following positions:
1. Medical Laboratory Technologist – 2 Positions
Requirements
- Diploma in Medical Laboratory Sciences or an equivalent recognised qualification.
- A minimum of one year's relevant work experience in a clinical laboratory, preferably with experience in Histopathology.
- Must be duly registered with the Health Professions Council of Zambia and hold a valid practising licence.
- Demonstrable strong technical, analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
- A strong commitment to quality, patient safety, confidentiality, and professional standards.
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, public holidays, and participate in emergency/on-call duties as required.
2. Biomedical Laboratory Officer – 1 Position
Requirements
- A Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Sciences, Biomedical Laboratory Sciences, Medical Laboratory Sciences, or an equivalent qualification from a recognised institution.
- Valid registration with the Health Professions Council of Zambia (HPCZ) and a current practising licence.
- A minimum of one (1) year of relevant work experience, preferably in Histopathology.
- Sound knowledge of laboratory procedures, quality control, and patient safety standards.
- Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
