As our network of farmers continues to grow across Northwestern Province, so is our team.
Hematon Agro Services is looking for a passionate and experienced Field Officer to work directly with farmers, with a particular focus on chili production.
Employment Location
The successful candidate will be based in Northwestern Province – Kalumbila and will be required to travel extensively to farmer communities within the assigned areas.
Requirements
- Certificate/Diploma in Agriculture, Agronomy or related field
- 2+ years’ experience working with large numbers of smallholder farmers
- Practical experience growing chili
- AIZ Certificate
- Valid Motorbike Licence
- Fluent in Bemba, Lunda and Kaonde
- Good computer and reporting skills
- Strong farmer mobilisation and communication skills
- Willingness to travel and work in rural areas
