Factory One Design Ltd is looking for an organised and detail-oriented Assistant Production Supervisor to oversee daily production operations in its printing, signage and branding facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare daily production schedules and optimise machine usage.
- Supervise machine operators, production staff and prepress technicians.
- Monitor quality standards and minimise waste and rejected work.
- Manage stock levels and coordinate with procurement.
- Coordinate preventive maintenance of production equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organised production environment.
- Enforce safety procedures, PPE requirements and safe machine and chemical handling.
Requirements
- Internship to 1 year of supervisory experience in a commercial environment, or a Diploma in Production Management.
- Technical knowledge of production lines.
- Knowledge of digital or flexographic printing is an added advantage.
- Understanding of prepress, colour theory and print finishing is an added advantage.
- Strong troubleshooting and team leadership skills.
- Ability to work under tight and fast-moving deadlines.
- Willingness to work shifts or weekends when required.
