Responsibilities
- Patrol randomly or regularly buildings and perimeter
- Monitor and control access at building entrances and vehicle gates
- Protect property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment
- Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances
- Act lawfully in direct defense of life or property
- Apprehend criminals and evict violators
- Take accurate notes of unusual occurrences
- Report in detail any suspicious incidents
- Perform first aid or CPR
Requirements
- Minimum BGCSE/Cambridge and/or a certificate in security management
- Must hold no criminal record
- Must be mature and responsible
- Physically and mentally fit
- Have integrity and self-discipline
- Fluent in both English and Setswana
- Ability to adapt to working under pressure
- Customer centricity
- Previous experience as a Security Officer (added advantage)
