As we continue to grow and strengthen the business, we’re looking for an experienced Non-Executive Board Director to join our Board and work closely with executive management to provide independent oversight, strategic guidance, and governance leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Contributing to the development and oversight of the company’s strategy
- Providing independent expert guidance on governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance
- Supporting sound decision-making in line with stakeholder interests and fiduciary obligations
- Ensuring compliance to the requirements of the Bank of Zambia and other applicable regulatory frameworks
What We’re Looking For
Accomplished senior leaders with demonstrated experience in regulated financial services environments and expertise in the following areas:
- Banking, Microfinance, or FinTech
- Technical skills: Specific proficiency in Finance Audit & Risk, ICT, Legal & Corporate Governance, Human Capital & Organizational Development
- Ethical leadership: A "Fit and Proper" track record with high integrity and no history of financial misconduct
- Stakeholder representation: Ideally, a background as a shareholder representative or a former executive with deep industry connections
Key Requirements
- Availability to attend quarterly Board and Committee meetings
- Willingness to actively contribute to governance and oversight responsibilities
- Residency; Lusaka preferred
