The International Hospital of Zambia (IHZ) – Fairview is inviting application from suitably qualified, hardworking and dedicated individuals to join our team in the following positions:
Chef (1)
Requirements
- Grade 12 Certificate (Mandatory)
- Food Handler's Certificate
- Certificate in Food Production or a related qualification
- Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good knowledge of food preparation, hygiene and safety standards
- Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and food quality
- Good teamwork, communication and time-management skills.
Assistant Chef (1)
Requirements
- Grade 12 Certificate (Mandatory)
- Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience
- Hard-working, reliable and able to work effectively as part of a team
- Excellent customer service skills and a professional attitude
- Good knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen safety
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions
- Food handling/food production training will be an added advantage
Laundry Attendant (2)
Requirements
- Grade 12 Certificate (Mandatory)
- Previous experience in laundry services will be an added advantage
- Knowledge of Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) practices
- Good understanding of proper handling, sorting and storage of linen
- Ability to follow hygiene, safety and laundry procedures
- Physically fit, hard-working and reliable
- Good attention to detail and ability to work as part of a team
