Capital FM is looking for a male News Reporter to join our newsroom team in Lusaka.
Key Responsibilities
- Research, gather and report accurate and timely news.
- Cover breaking news, events and assignments.
- Conduct interviews and develop compelling news stories.
- Deliver confident and professional live reports.
- Write, edit and produce content for radio and digital platforms.
- Verify information and maintain high journalistic and ethical standards.
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Journalism, Mass Communication or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in journalism or broadcast news.
- Excellent writing, editing and interviewing skills.
- Strong live reporting and on-air communication skills.
- Good knowledge of current affairs and local issues.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and work flexible newsroom shifts.
- Good command of English; knowledge of local languages is an added advantage.
- Must be proactive, professional and able to work independently.
