Coptic Hospital is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals for the position of Cashier.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and process payments from patients and clients
- Issue receipts and accurately record all transactions
- Handle cash, card and other approved payment methods
- Reconcile daily collections and submit accurate reports
- Maintain proper records of all financial transactions
- Assist patients and clients with payment-related enquiries
- Ensure compliance with hospital financial procedures and policies
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications & Requirements
- Grade 12 Certificate
- Certificate/Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field is an added advantage
- Previous cashier experience, preferably in a hospital or healthcare environment
- Good numerical and record-keeping skills
- Excellent communication and customer-service skills
- Honest and trustworthy, with the ability to handle confidential information
- Good computer skills; knowledge of Microsoft Office is an added advantage
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy
- Team player with a professional and courteous attitude
- All qualifications must be verified by ZAQA
