WORKSHOP FOREMAN

Budget Logistics is looking for a skilled and experienced Workshop Forman to join our team specializing in Volvo, Scania, and Zhohntong (Cummings) Trucks/Buses.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise mechanics and workshop staff to ensure efficient daily operations.
- Plan and coordinate servicing, repairs and preventive maintenance.
- Diagnose mechanical faults and ensure repairs are carried out correctly and on time
- Ensure proper use and care of workshop tools, equipment and spare parts
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, servicing and maintenance schedules.
- Report major mechanical issues and maintenance requirements to management
REQUIREMENTS
- Grade 12 certificate or equivalent
- Diploma or relevant qualification in Automotive/Mechanical Engineering
- At least 3-5 years’ experience in heavy duty vehicles workshop, with supervisory experience
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, heavy-duty vehicles and vehicle maintenance
- Good leadership, communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet maintenance deadlines
- Valid driver’s license, preferably with experience driving heavy vehicles
