HANDYMAN

📍 NDOLA, COPPERBELT, ZAMBIA • FULL-TIME

💰 ZMW 3,500 – ZMW 4,500 / MONTH

Greenwood Manor Hotel is looking for a dependable and skilled Handyman to join the team and help keep the property running smoothly.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Perform general handyman work around the hotel, including repairs, minor installations and fixes.
• Help with plumbing tasks such as leaks, toilet/sink repairs and basic maintenance.
• Support maintenance and simple electrical-related work, including troubleshooting basic issues and replacing parts.
• Assist with minor construction and renovation tasks as needed, including patching, carpentry support, wall repairs and basic repairs.
• Respond to maintenance requests and ensure tasks are completed safely and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and follow hotel safety procedures and maintenance standards.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Background or experience with electrical engineering or strong electrical knowledge.
• Ability to handle plumbing repairs, from basic to intermediate.
• Some experience or comfort with basic construction work, including patching, repairs and minor building tasks.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
• Good communication skills with staff and management.

NICE TO HAVE

• Prior hotel or property maintenance experience.
• Familiarity with common maintenance tools and systems.
• Safety certifications, such as electrical safety training, are a plus.
