The Zambia Compulsory Standards Agency (ZCSA) is a Statutory Body established under the Compulsory Standards Act, Chapter 422 of the Laws of Zambia. The Agency's mandate is to administer, maintain, and ensure compliance with Compulsory Standards.

ZCSA invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals to fill the following positions:


- Manager Internal Audit (ZCS 03)

- Internal Auditor – ICT (ZCS 05)

- Senior Information & Communication Technology Officer (ZCS 04)

- Information & Communication Technology Officer – Applications (ZCS 05)

- Assistant Procurement Officer (ZCS 06)

- Office Assistant (ZCS 10) ×2


1. MANAGER INTERNAL AUDIT (ZCS 03)

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the development and review of the Internal Audit Charter and Internal Audit Procedures Manual.

- Manage the development of the annual audit plan.

- Manage planned and special audit assignments.

- Manage compliance audits.

- Manage systems and performance audits.

- Coordinate the preparation and updating of the institutional risk register.

- Manage the development and review of the risk management framework.

- Produce internal audit and management reports.

- Develop work plans and implement the performance management system.

- Manage human, financial, and other resources.


Qualifications

- Full Grade 12 Certificate.

- Chartered Accountant Zambia (CA Zambia) or equivalent.

- Paid-up member of the Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants (ZICA).

- Minimum of eight (8) years' relevant experience, two (2) of which must be at management level.

- Ability to write technical and analytical reports.

- Excellent communication skills in English.

- Supervisory skills.

- Computer literacy.

- Analytical, interpersonal, numerical, confidentiality, and integrity skills.

2. INTERNAL AUDITOR – ICT (ZCS 05)


Key Responsibilities


- Develop ICT audit plans.

- Conduct planned and special ICT audits.

- Carry out ICT compliance audits.

- Prepare ICT internal audit and management reports.

- Conduct data extraction, analysis, and security reviews using appropriate tools.

- Perform any other duties assigned.


Qualifications


- Full Grade 12 Certificate.

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business, Accounting, or equivalent.

- Membership with a relevant professional body.

- ICT Audit Certification (CISA or equivalent).

- Minimum two (2) years' relevant experience.

- Ability to write technical and analytical reports.

- Good communication skills in English.

- Computer literacy.

- Strong interpersonal skills.

- Confidentiality and integrity.

- Numerical proficiency.

- Knowledge of Data Analytics tools such as ACL is an added advantage.

- Knowledge of ISO 27001, COBIT, and ITIL is an added advantage.

3. SENIOR INFORMATION & COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY OFFICER (ZCS 04)


Key Responsibilities


- Supervise installation, configuration, upgrading, and maintenance of ICT hardware.

- Supervise installation and maintenance of software.

- Ensure ICT systems security.

- Build ICT capacity for end users.

- Align ICT hardware and network specifications with user requirements.

- Provide first-line software, hardware, and network support.

- Maintain Agency websites and portals.

- Develop and implement disaster recovery measures.

- Develop work plans and supervise performance management.

- Manage human and other resources.


Qualifications


- Full Grade 12 School Certificate.

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

- CCNA, MCSE, or equivalent certification.

- Paid-up member of the ICT Association of Zambia (ICTAZ).

- Minimum three (3) years' relevant experience.

- Technical report writing skills.

- Good communication skills.

- Supervisory ability.

- Analytical, interpersonal, confidentiality, and initiative skills.

- ICT troubleshooting and technical support experience.

- Hardware, software, and network configuration skills.

4. INFORMATION & COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY OFFICER – APPLICATIONS (ZCS 05)


Key Responsibilities


- Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain software.

- Develop Management Information Systems.

- Maintain Management Information Systems.

- Provide technical support to end users.

- Coordinate system reviews and improvements.

- Develop work plans and supervise performance management.

- Manage human and other resources.


Qualifications


- Full Grade 12 School Certificate.

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

- MCSE/ERP certification.

- Paid-up member of ICTAZ.

- Minimum two (2) years' relevant experience.

- Technical report writing skills.

- Good communication skills.

- Integrity, analytical, and interpersonal skills.

- ICT troubleshooting skills.

- Strong understanding of DNS, IIS, HTTP, FTP, SMTP, POP3, and IMAP protocols.

- Working knowledge of SQL Server and Exchange Server.

- Practical experience with Windows Active Directory and Group Policy.

5. ASSISTANT PROCUREMENT OFFICER (ZCS 06)


Key Responsibilities


- Collect and collate procurement data.

- Collect quotations and assist in preparing bidding documents.

- Maintain procurement records and filing systems.


Qualifications


- Full Grade 12 School Certificate.

- Diploma in Purchasing and Supply or equivalent.

- Paid-up member of the Zambia Institute of Purchasing and Supply (ZIPS).

- Minimum two (2) years' relevant experience.

- Report writing skills.

- Good communication skills.

- Computer literacy.

- Confidentiality.

- Initiative.

- Integrity.

- Negotiation and interpersonal skills.

6. OFFICE ASSISTANT (ZCS 10) ×2


Key Responsibilities


- Clean offices and maintain cleanliness.

- Clean eating and drinking utensils.

- Clean common areas.

- Carry out official errands.


Qualifications


- General Certificate of Education (GCE).

- Ability to read and write.

- Minimum two (2) years' relevant experience.

- Ability to communicate in English.

- Trustworthy.

- Confidential.

- Good interpersonal skills.

- Initiative.
