Golden Valley Agricultural Research Trust (GART) is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the position of Workshop Mechanic.

🔹 Requirements / Who Should Apply

✅ Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Agricultural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field from a reputable institution.

✅ Minimum of 5 years' relevant experience.

✅ Experience in the repair and maintenance of tractors, diesel engines, and farm implements.

✅ Previous experience as a workshop mechanic in a busy agricultural environment is an added advantage.

✅ Knowledge of irrigation systems, including booster pumps, borehole pumps, and centre pivot irrigation systems.

✅ Membership with the Engineering Institution of Zambia (EIZ).

✅ Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

✅ Ability to work with minimal supervision and supervise workshop staff.
