Job description:

Key Responsibilities

Develop, oversee and deliver a comprehensive training and development strategy aligned with organizational objectives

Design and implement leadership development programmes for emerging and existing leaders ensuring programs align with succession requirements and business needs

Coordinate coaching, mentoring, and leadership assessments.

Evaluate leadership programme effectiveness and recommend improvements in liaison with the various departments/units.

Engage with relevant stakeholders to arrange formal accreditation of learning programmes on site where required.

Compile statistical reports for management information and decision making.

Administer and optimize Learning Management Systems (LMS), training databases, and reporting tools to ensure seamless delivery and tracking of training programs.

E-learning integration: Design, implement, and manage e-learning modules, virtual classrooms, and digital learning resources to expand access and flexibility.

Innovation: Integrate modern learning technologies, gamification, and blended learning approaches.

Analyse training needs to develop new training programs or modify and improve existing programs.

Drafting and implementation of training & development policies, procedures and talent frameworks that support workforce capability and organisational growth

Evaluation, improvement and management of the induction programs

Facilitate change management programmes associated with organisational transformation.

Contribute to culture development initiatives that promote high performance

Lead the organisation's succession planning process for critical and leadership roles.

Identify high-potential employees and develop succession pipelines.

Facilitate regular talent review and succession planning sessions with business leaders.

Develop career progression frameworks and career pathways across the organisation.

Promote internal mobility and career growth opportunities.

Coordinate career development initiatives to improve employee retention

Support recognition and career development initiatives that strengthen employee commitment.

Minimum of 8–10 years of experience in training, professional development, or instructional leadership.

Proven track record in managing LMS platforms and e-learning systems.

Proven track record in developing and executing successful training programs.

Strong knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design, and performance evaluation.

Familiar with traditional and modern training processes

Qualifications


Bachelor’s degree in Education, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Instructional Technology, or related field. ZAQA Accreditation a must

Masters will be an added advantage

ZIHRM Certification is a must
