CALL FOR APPLICATIONS FOR SPRAY OPERATORS (SOPs)

📍 LUMEZI, EASTERN PROVINCE

Lumezi Town Council, through the Department of Health Services, invites applications from suitably qualified and eligible members of the community to work as Spray Operators (SOPs) during the upcoming spray campaign which will last for 30 operational days.

REQUIREMENTS FOR SPRAY OPERATOR (SOP)

• Must be able to read and write.
• Not pregnant or a lactating mother.
• In possession of a green National Registration Card and must bring along the NRC.
• Must be 18 years and above.
• Weight should be 50 Kg and above.
• No history of chronic respiratory tract infection.
• Must not be allergic to insecticides.
• Must be both physically and medically fit.
• Able to walk long distances while carrying a Spray Pump.
• Must be ready to meet the minimum daily spray target of 15 structures per day.
• Being an active Community Based Volunteer (CBV) is an added advantage.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE

Interested and eligible applicants should submit their application letters to the District Health Office, located next to the National Assembly Office, on or before 3rd September 2026.
