ROLE PURPOSE
Unifi is looking for a candidate to support the branch team as a Rider/Office Assistant for its Kitwe Main Branch.
The ideal candidate must combine a variety of skills including time management, general organisation, task prioritisation, customer service, problem-solving and teamwork.
Any previous office experience may be requested, but this can also be an entry-level position.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Welcome clients and direct them to the correct staff member.
- Coordinate messenger and courier services.
- Provide a high-quality cleaning service.
- Clean, sweep, mop and vacuum floors.
- Dust and polish furniture, fixtures and surfaces.
- Dispose of trash and recycling.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms.
- Stock and replenish bathroom supplies.
- Clean windows and glass surfaces.
- Maintain common areas and outdoor spaces.
- Follow health and safety guidelines.
- Notify management of any maintenance or repair needs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
- Grade 12 Certificate or GCE.
- Proven experience as a cleaner.
- A motorbike licence with at least one year of experience will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and techniques.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and thoroughness.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy objects.
- Good communication skills.
