JOB OVERVIEW
An employer in Lusaka, Zambia is seeking a capable, organised and results-oriented Operations Manager to oversee daily operations of a workshop and showroom.
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating staff, managing customer orders, improving operational systems and ensuring that work is completed efficiently and on schedule.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- Male/Female, 25–40 years old.
- Minimum education: Diploma in Business Administration, Operations Management, Management, Production Management or a related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of proven experience in a supervisory or management role.
- Strong leadership and staff management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple orders and deadlines.
- Experience in tailoring, fashion, manufacturing or production will be an added advantage.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and coordinate daily operations of the workshop and showroom.
- Ensure customer orders are properly recorded, assigned and completed on time.
- Help improve internal systems, organisation and workflow.
- Prepare regular reports for management.
