In line with the Bank’s strategic priorities aimed at strengthening corporate governance, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting effective decision-making, NATSAVE seeks the services of a highly motivated, result-oriented, well-qualified and experienced professional to fill the following positions:

(a) Corporate Products Officer (01) – NG5

Reporting to: HEAD CORPORATE BUSINESS

1. Purpose of the Job

To develop and deliver corporate banking products that drive business growth and profitability for target corporate customers.

2. Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop corporate banking products that meet the needs of target corporate customers and align with the Bank’s strategic objectives.
  • Develop competitive and profitable product propositions that enhance customer value and support business growth.
  • Promote and market corporate banking products to target customers to drive product uptake, sales, and revenue growth.
  • Manage and maintain the corporate banking product portfolio to ensure profitability, competitiveness, and alignment with customer needs.
  • Conduct market research and analyse customer needs, industry trends, and competitor activities to identify product development opportunities.
  • Manage the end-to-end product life cycle, including product development, launch, enhancement, review, and retirement, ensuring products remain relevant and compliant.

3. Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field, with a strong foundation in product management, business analysis, marketing principles, customer relationship management, and financial services.
  • Professional certifications in Product Management, Banking, Digital Banking, Project Management, or Marketing are an added advantage.
  • 2 - 3 years’ experience in banking or a related field, with exposure to product development, product management, and customer relationship management to support the design, enhancement, and management of the Bank’s corporate banking products and services.
  • Experience in developing, managing, and enhancing banking products and services, ensuring they remain competitive, profitable, and responsive to customer needs.
  • Experience in conducting market research, competitor analysis, and customer needs assessments to identify product opportunities and support informed product development decisions.

4. Key Competencies

(b) Business Development Officer (01) – NG5

Reporting to: RELATIONSHIP MANAGER

1. Purpose of the Job

To identify and pursue new business opportunities, build relationships with existing clients, and contribute to revenue growth by acquiring new clients and expanding existing relationships.

2. Key Responsibilities

  • Generate new business leads and identify business development opportunities through networking, referrals, and marketing events.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities.
  • Acquire new clients and grow existing client portfolios to achieve sales and business development targets.
  • Coordinate the onboarding of new clients and ensure a seamless transition to transactional banking services.
  • Conduct market research and gather competitor intelligence to support business development strategies.
  • Prepare and present business proposals and solutions to prospective clients to secure new business.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, business opportunities, and relationship activities.

3. Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field, with a strong foundation in sales, business development, customer relationship management, marketing principles, and financial services.
  • Professional certifications in Sales, Marketing, Business Development, or Customer Relationship Management are an added advantage.
  • 0-2 years’ experience in sales, business development, or a related field, with exposure to customer acquisition, relationship management, and sales support to contribute to business growth and customer portfolio development.
