JOB PURPOSE

The H.E.R Technician will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing heavy Sandvik machinery, vehicles, and equipment used in mining and construction operations to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient performance.

QUALIFICATIONS

✔ Full Grade 12 Certificate

✔ Advanced Certificate in Heavy Equipment Repair (H.E.R) or Diploma in Mechanics

EXPERIENCE & ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

✔ Minimum 3+ years of experience in heavy-duty equipment repair.

✔ Underground mining experience will be an added advantage.

✔ Valid Silicosis Certificate.

✔ Valid Driver’s Licence.

✔ Basic computer and software knowledge is desirable.

✔ Ability and willingness to work in environments such as underground mining operations.
