ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH TECHNOLOGIST
COPTIC HOSPITAL is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the position of Environmental Health Technologist.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct environmental health inspections and assessments within the hospital.
- Monitor compliance with environmental health, hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards.
- Ensure proper waste management and disposal practices.
- Conduct health and safety awareness and provide guidance to staff on environmental health matters.
- Identify environmental health risks and recommend appropriate corrective measures.
- Maintain accurate records and prepare relevant reports.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Environmental Health or a related field from a recognised institution.
- Verification of all qualifications by ZAQA is required.
- Must be registered with HPCZ and possess a valid practicing licence.
- Relevant work experience will be an added advantage.
- Good communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a hospital environment.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
