GENERAL WORKERS

CONTRACT • LUSAKA, ZAMBIA

Kamwesa Zambia Limited is inviting applications from suitably qualified, hardworking and experienced individuals for General Worker positions in Lusaka.

1. GENERAL WORKERS – GARDENING & GROUNDS MAINTENANCE

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain gardens, lawns and surrounding grounds.
• Cut grass, trim bushes and maintain plants.
• Remove weeds, leaves and other waste from garden areas.
• Assist with planting, watering and general landscaping activities.
• Maintain gardening tools and equipment.
• Keep assigned areas clean and presentable.

Requirements

• Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent.
• Should be able to read and write.
• Certificate in Landscaping will be an added advantage.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant gardening or grounds-maintenance experience.
• Physically fit, able to work outdoors and long hours.
• Ability to operate basic gardening tools and equipment.
• Good work ethic, reliability and punctuality.
• Willingness to work day & night shifts, weekends or overtime when required.

2. GENERAL WORKERS – CLEANERS

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain offices, facilities, residential homes, hospitals, factories, schools, malls, warehouses and other designated areas.
• Sweep, mop, dust and perform general cleaning duties.
• Clean and maintain washrooms and other assigned areas.
• Properly handle cleaning materials and equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures.

Requirements

• Grade 12 Certificate or Equivalent.
• Should be able to read and write.
• Certificate in Housekeeping will be an added advantage.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant cleaning experience.
• Knowledge of basic cleaning procedures and safe use of cleaning materials.
• Physically fit and able to perform cleaning duties.
• Good hygiene, reliability and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work day & night shifts, weekends or overtime when required.
