Jaya Pest Control & Cleaning Services is looking for a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager to oversee pest control service delivery, regulatory compliance and operational excellence in Zambia.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Operations Manager will be responsible for coordinating daily operations, leading technician teams, maintaining service quality, supporting regulatory compliance and ensuring efficient delivery of pest control services.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Lead Daily Operations: Lead daily pest control operations and supervise technician teams.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure compliance with chemical safety requirements, ZEMA and ZRA regulations, including VAT invoicing.
- Client & Contract Management: Manage client contracts and ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Inventory & Fleet Logistics: Oversee inventory management, fleet logistics and operational resources.
- Emergency Response: Coordinate appropriate responses to urgent pest control and operational situations.
- Business Growth: Support business growth by providing operational insights and identifying opportunities for improved service delivery.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Degree in Business, Environmental Science or a related field.
- 5+ years’ operations management experience.
- Experience in pest control is preferred.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Strong compliance and regulatory awareness.
- Strong financial and operational management skills.
