VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT | EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION HEADTEACHER

Milestone School is inviting applications from suitably qualified, experienced and committed education professionals for the position of Early Childhood Education Headteacher.

The successful candidate will provide strong academic and administrative leadership for the Early Childhood section, with responsibility for maintaining high standards of teaching, learner development, staff performance, discipline, safeguarding and overall school quality.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education
• At least 10 years of leadership or management experience in an educational setting
• Valid Teaching Council of Zambia registration and practising certificate
• Strong knowledge of Early Childhood Education and child development
• Experience in staff supervision, curriculum implementation and academic leadership
• Computer literacy and confidence in using educational technology
• Knowledge of the new Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC)
• Knowledge of the Cambridge curriculum is an added advantage
• Strong communication, organisational, leadership and decision-making skills
• A commitment to academic excellence, good character and continuous improvement
• Added advantages: A Master’s Degree, leadership or school management qualifications, and relevant professional development
• Preferred age: 35 to 45 years
