About the Opportunity

Innovations for Poverty Action is seeking a Field Officer to support an HPV vaccination research project in Zambia through high-quality field data collection and research activities.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

• Conduct Key Informant Interviews (KIIs) at national, provincial and district levels
• Conduct site visits and surveys at schools and health facilities
• Ensure data quality, completeness and accuracy
• Manage and safeguard field equipment and study materials
• Participate in daily field debriefs and report challenges
• Follow ethical, consent and confidentiality requirements

🔹 Requirements / Who Should Apply

• At least 2 years’ experience in field-based research or data collection
• Experience conducting interviews with senior-level stakeholders
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Fluency in Mambwe and Namwanga
• Experience using SurveyCTO or other electronic data collection tools
• Strong organisation, attention to detail and listening skills
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience speaking Mambwe/Namwanga is strongly preferred.
