ABOUT THE ROLE

BIA Group is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Officer to join the team at the Lumwana site.

This role is essential in managing the logistical flow of incoming and outgoing goods to support the timely delivery of machine parts to internal and external customers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Goods Processing – Accurately process incoming and outgoing goods to guarantee timely and complete delivery of machine parts.
2. Order Management – Handle daily purchase and sales orders both physically and administratively.
3. Shipping – Prepare and collect orders for shipment.
4. Stock Control – Provide feedback on stock issues and maintain efficient storage of goods.
5. Warehouse Maintenance – Maintain order and cleanliness in warehouse areas while adhering to safety guidelines.
6. Customer Support – Assist internal and external customers at the warehouse counter.
7. Distribution – Distribute incoming goods efficiently to the workshop and mechanics.

REQUIREMENTS

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Logistics, International Trade, or a related field.
• Experience: Basic understanding of logistics processes.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP (MM, WM), including PR/PO creation, receipt follow-up and stock consultation.
• Skills: Attention to detail and ability to work in a dynamic environment.
