STORES ASSISTANT

📍 LUSAKA, ZAMBIA

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of Grade 12 Certificate.
• Certificate or Diploma in Stores Management, Procurement, Sales and Marketing, Logistics, or related field is an added advantage.
• At least 2–3 years of experience in auto stores or warehouse.
• Knowledge of stock control systems and basic computer applications such as Excel and inventory software.

SKILLS

• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• High level of honesty, integrity, and reliability.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and under pressure.

DUTIES

• Receive, inspect, and record incoming stock deliveries against purchase orders and delivery notes.
• Properly store motor vehicle parts in designated areas to ensure orderliness, safety, and easy retrieval.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date stock records, whether manual and/or electronic.
• Issue materials, parts, or supplies to departments as per approved requisitions.
