Job Purpose
The Media and Advocacy Coordinator is responsible for leading Share Vision Network's communication, media relations, advocacy, public awareness, and policy engagement initiatives. The role aims to amplify the voices of vulnerable communities, increase public awareness of key social issues, strengthen the organization's visibility, influence policy change, and promote SVN's mission through strategic communication and evidence-based advocacy.
Key Responsibilities
1. Media and Communications
Develop and implement SVN's Media and Communications Strategy.
Manage the organization's website and social media platforms.
Produce high-quality communication materials, including press releases, newsletters, brochures, fact sheets, and annual reports.
Coordinate media interviews, press conferences, and public events.
Build and maintain relationships with journalists and media houses.
Ensure consistent branding across all communication materials.
2. Advocacy and Policy Engagement
Develop and implement advocacy campaigns aligned with SVN's strategic priorities.
Advocate for policies that promote human rights, gender equality, child protection, health, climate resilience, disability inclusion, and good governance.
Prepare policy briefs, position papers, advocacy messages, and campaign materials.
Coordinate stakeholder dialogues, policy forums, and public consultations.
Monitor national and international policy developments relevant to SVN's work.
3. Public Awareness Campaigns
Design and coordinate community awareness campaigns.
Develop advocacy messages for radio, television, print, and digital platforms.
Coordinate commemorations of international and national awareness days.
Promote behaviour change communication initiatives within communities.
4. Digital Communications
Manage SVN's online presence and digital engagement.
Create content for Facebook, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, and other digital platforms.
Produce photography, videos, podcasts, and multimedia content.
Monitor digital analytics and prepare engagement reports.
5. Stakeholder Engagement
Build partnerships with media organizations, government institutions, civil society organizations, community leaders, and development partners.
Represent SVN at conferences, media engagements, and advocacy forums.
Strengthen relationships with influencers, ambassadors, and communication partners.
6. Knowledge Management
Document programme success stories and lessons learned.
Develop beneficiary case studies and human-interest stories.
Maintain a digital library of communication materials.
Coordinate publication of newsletters and annual reports.
7. Monitoring and Reporting
Monitor media coverage and public perception of SVN.
Evaluate the effectiveness of advocacy campaigns.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual communications and advocacy reports.
Track key communication and advocacy indicators.
8. Crisis Communication
Develop and implement crisis communication protocols.
Coordinate responses to media inquiries during emergencies.
Protect and promote SVN's reputation through timely and accurate communication.
9. Capacity Building
Train staff and volunteers on media engagement and advocacy.
Build communication skills among programme teams.
Support community advocacy initiatives and citizen participation.

Experience
Minimum of two - three years' experience in communications, media relations, advocacy, public relations, or NGO programme communications.
Experience managing advocacy campaigns and media engagement.
Demonstrated experience in digital communications and social media management.

Job Purpose
The Grants and Resource Mobilization Coordinator is responsible for leading Share Vision Network's efforts to secure financial and non-financial resources that support the organization's strategic objectives. The position focuses on identifying funding opportunities, coordinating grant development, managing donor relationships, overseeing grant compliance, and implementing resource mobilization strategies to ensure the sustainability and growth of SVN's programmes.
Key Responsibilities
1. Resource Mobilization Strategy
Develop and implement SVN's Resource Mobilization Strategy.
Identify diversified funding sources, including bilateral and multilateral donors, foundations, corporate organizations, embassies, UN agencies, and philanthropic institutions.
Establish annual fundraising targets and monitor progress.
Develop innovative fundraising initiatives, including digital campaigns, corporate giving, sponsorships, and community fundraising.
2. Grant Identification and Proposal Development
Research and monitor local, regional, and international funding opportunities.
Coordinate the preparation of high-quality grant proposals, concept notes, expressions of interest, and funding applications.
Work closely with programme and finance teams to develop competitive project budgets and implementation plans.
Ensure proposals align with donor priorities and SVN's strategic plan.
3. Donor Relations and Stewardship
Build and maintain strong relationships with donors and funding partners.
Coordinate donor meetings, presentations, and site visits.
Respond promptly to donor inquiries and information requests.
Ensure effective communication and stewardship to strengthen long-term donor partnerships.
4. Grant Management and Compliance
Monitor grant implementation to ensure compliance with donor requirements.
Track grant deliverables, reporting deadlines, and budgets.
Coordinate timely submission of narrative and financial reports.
Maintain accurate grant records, agreements, and supporting documentation.
Support internal and external grant audits.
5. Partnership Development
Build strategic partnerships with government ministries, NGOs, civil society organizations, community-based organizations, faith-based organizations, academic institutions, and private sector partners.
Negotiate and coordinate Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) and partnership agreements.
Facilitate collaborative initiatives that enhance programme delivery and sustainability.
6. Fundraising and Corporate Engagement
Develop corporate partnership and sponsorship opportunities.
Coordinate fundraising events and donor engagement activities.
Promote employee giving and corporate social responsibility (CSR) partnerships.
Strengthen relationships with individual donors and philanthropic organizations.
7. Monitoring, Evaluation, and Reporting
Track resource mobilization performance against annual targets.
Maintain a donor and grants database.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual fundraising and grants reports.
Analyze funding trends and recommend strategic improvements.
8. Communication and Visibility
Develop donor success stories and impact reports.
Coordinate visibility activities in line with donor branding requirements.
Support communication campaigns that enhance SVN's profile and attract new partners.
9. Strategic Planning
Contribute to organizational strategic planning and annual budgeting.
Advise management on emerging funding opportunities and donor priorities.
Strengthen organizational capacity in grant management and resource mobilization.

Minimum of three to five years of experience in grant management, fundraising, resource mobilization, donor relations, or business development within the NGO or development sector.
Demonstrated success in securing grants from institutional and private donors.

The role focuses on stakeholder engagement, resource mobilization, donor relations, and collaboration with government, development partners, civil society organizations, and the private sector.
Key Responsibilities
1. Partnership Development
Develop and implement SVN's Partnership and Stakeholder Engagement Strategy.
Identify and establish partnerships with government ministries, development agencies, NGOs, CBOs, FBOs, academic institutions, and private sector organizations.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with strategic partners.
Prepare partnership concept notes and collaboration proposals.
Maintain an updated database of partners and stakeholders.
2. Resource Mobilization and Donor Engagement
Identify funding opportunities from local and international donors.
Coordinate the preparation of grant proposals and concept notes.
Build relationships with donor agencies and corporate partners.
Support fundraising campaigns and sponsorship initiatives.
Monitor donor priorities and funding trends.
3. Stakeholder Coordination
Represent Share Vision Network at meetings, conferences, workshops, and stakeholder forums.
Coordinate stakeholder consultations and partnership meetings.

4. Partnership Management
Draft and coordinate Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) and partnership agreements.

Resolve partnership issues in a timely and professional manner.
5. Communication and Visibility
Promote SVN's programmes through strategic partnerships.
Develop partnership success stories and case studies.

6. Monitoring, Evaluation and Reporting
Track partnership performance using agreed indicators.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual partnership reports.

7. Strategic Planning
Participate in organizational strategic planning and annual work planning.
Provide recommendations on expanding SVN's partnership portfolio.
Support programme teams in integrating partnership opportunities into projects.
