About the Role

Sanctuary Gardens is seeking a highly disciplined and experienced Head of Security to oversee all security operations. The successful candidate will ensure a safe, secure, and therapeutic environment for clients, staff, and visitors while leading the security team with professionalism and integrity.

Requirements

- High level of integrity and professionalism

- Zero tolerance for drugs and alcohol

- Formal security training

- Proven security experience with a strong track record

- Excellent communication and leadership skills

- Alert, dependable, and decisive

- Military, Police, or Security Services background is an added advantage

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and supervise the security team on a 24/7 basis

- Maintain a secure, escape-proof, and contraband-free environment

- Develop, implement, and enforce security policies and procedures

- Prevent, respond to, and investigate security incidents

- Coordinate staff training and performance management

- Promote safety, order, and a therapeutic environment

- Foster positive working relationships with clients, staff, and other departments

- Prepare security reports and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
